Salix opens energy efficiency fund for academies and sixth form colleges
Applications for the Salix Energy Efficiency Fund (SEEF) are now open, with final submissions due by 30th November 2018.
The interest-free funding is available for all individual academies, academy sixth forms, free schools and those in Multi-Academy Trusts (MATs).
Funding for energy saving upgrades
SEEF funding is available for a wide range of energy saving projects (over 100 technologies are eligible), including lighting, heating and cooling upgrades.
There is no upfront cost – the interest-free funding is repaid based upon the predicted energy savings.
Deadline and timescales
Applications opened on Friday 28th September 2018, and the deadline for submissions is Friday 30th November 2018.
Projects need to be completed by December 2019.
