Carbon consultancy welcomes EU reform to strengthen corporate accountability
The European Parliament has passed new legislation to improve corporate accountability and transparency concerning businesses’ activities on the environment, human rights and society.
The reform will require companies to disclose information about the policies they have in place to assess risks and prevent adverse impacts of business operations. This non-financial information will be disclosed in annual management reports and will include supply chain details.
