Concept careers: we’re looking for consultants to join our growing team
As we seek to grow our business we’re looking to recruit for two new positions within the Concept team.
Senior Energy Management Consultant
We’re looking for a Senior Energy Management Consultant to assist our clients in managing and reducing their energy consumption, by developing a detailed understanding of their buildings and processes to highlight where energy is used.
Your background may be in building controls, process engineering or consultancy. You will need to have an excellent proven record of client engagement, report writing and technical problem solving – you will have a good understanding of building services, building management systems, energy management principles and low carbon technologies.
The role will be home-based, with a preference for a candidate located in the East Midlands or Bedfordshire / Cambridgeshire region to provide geographic coverage to the Eastern side of the country.

Operational Energy Consultant
We’re also looking for an Operational Energy Consultant to join our team.
The role will be home-based, however, preference will be given to a candidate located nearer to our offices in Basingstoke, Hampshire.
You will assist our existing consultants in the management and timely delivery of Display Energy Certificates (DECs), Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) and TM44 (air conditioning inspection reports) to meet client requirements, as well as statutory reporting associated with Climate Change Agreements and the Energy Savings Opportunities Scheme (ESOS).
This is a Consultant level role that will require good organisational and communication skills. We would expect the candidate to develop a detailed understanding of operational energy use in buildings and energy management techniques; we will assist by providing mentoring and some formal training.
You will have a basic understanding of building services, building management system and statutory energy and carbon reporting. You will be expected to deliver site based inspections for the production of Display Energy Certificates and Energy Performance Certificates however training will be given to a suitable candidate who is not already qualified.
