Richard is an energy management specialist, with decades of experience helping clients tackle their building energy challenges.

Responsible for Customer Success at Concept, Richard is a highly empathetic communicator, who excels at getting to the heart of client challenges. For him, a win is the customer getting not just what they want, but something more that they didn’t know they could benefit from.

Richard is passionate about harnessing data and technology to make informed decisions on energy use – since joining Concept in 2008, he’s helped countless companies save money and reduce carbon through more efficient use of energy across their estates.

Richard is also an expert in metering and data collection and is a fully qualified electrical engineer. He started his career with the MOD before moving to Thames Water as a Controls Engineer. He also has extensive data communications experience from his time working within an international hardware and software company.
